If not advanced, at least basic education is a key ingredient to be independent. Our failure fail to provide education opportunities and environment for children, turns most of these children into failure for life. It is not just they they don't get the same opportunities to grow and earn living they also get resentment, "only if we had the opportunity to go to school we could have this or that. And that resentment turns into hating society or at least value social fabric far less. We aim to work with parents to ensure that the kids do go to school and not to a sweat shop, they have necessary supplies to learn and have better chance at life.
Food is basic necessity and with inflation it is turning into luxury for certain people here in Canada and abroad. We aim to work with food banks and our volunteers to do as much as we can. We also aim to provide a platform for people to donate and join the cause. While donating, please let us know which region you would like to focus, alternatively we will divide your donation to existing food drive projects in line with these projects' needs.
These seniors do not have the tools or skills shop online nor they can afford the extra delivery charges or shopping at the stores which offer free delivery, as the profit margin they charge materially change the price to unaffordable for such customers. This affected group has it dilemma that they do not want charity as they have the financial resources to buy basic items they need but with the life style limitations that are not able to go and shop nor they can afford help. Some of them rely on the kindness of their neighbors but mostly suffer especially in winter. We aim to facilitate such members of society through screened volunteers and down the road have arrangements with the vendors. For volunteering , please reach out to us through Get Involved form.
Being a Canadian, I understand, Health Care here needs a lot of improvement, which is altogether a different debate. We have a system which may be deteriorating, however, people have access to treatments and medicine. There are people out there who do not have access to medical staff nor to the medicine. Such communities become breeding ground for unlicensed individuals practicing medicine and fake or expired drugs. We aim to help one patient at a time and aim to work with existing medical facilities to share cost of treatments and medicine to ensure that patients are treated. The sheer magnitude of this problem across the world is frightening, we are to do our share.
Luckily, most Canadians enjoy warm houses and clothes to protect themselves against the weather. However, every winter, we hear on news that people could not cope with winter, most of such deaths are people who are struggling financially or homeless people. We are focused on delivering adequate clothes to as many people each winter as we can. With the help of our corporate sponsors we can negotiate discounted prices for winter jackets and your donations will help us keep one more individual warm this winter.
